For your cheese recipes like :- raclette, fondue or tartiflette : Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling
 
To enjoy a glass of wine with cheese at the end of the meal, the following combinations are recommended :

- Young , mild cheeses, goats cheeses, mild cheddar, Brillat-Savarin, chaource : Pinot blanc, Riesling

- Soft cheeses and washed rind cheeses (Munster, Pont l'Eveque, Maroilles, Epoisses, blue cheeses) : Gewurztraminer

- Strong cheeses : Gewurztraminer- Old Gouda or Parmesan : Gewurztraminer Vendanges Tardives
- Other cheeses (camembert, brie, comté, Roquefort, Fourme d'Ambert, Pont l'Eveque) : Pinot Noir
